Kimberly Kanen is responsible for the underwriting, financing, and closing of new investments; managing the formulation and implementation of strategies for each property, and ultimately overseeing the disposition of assets at the end of their holding period. Prior to joining Buchanan, she was Director of Asset Management & Leasing for The Garrett Group, a land and investment management company with 2.5 million square feet of office and industrial product under ownership. Kimberly has over 31 years of commercial real estate experience including portfolio management for The Irvine Company where she was the Portfolio Manager for 4.2 million square feet of Class A office space in Orange County. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Real Estate Finance from the University of Southern California.
