Merle is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for Buchanan’s funds and private placements. She previously worked at KBS Realty Advisors as an Accounting Manager responsible for overseeing the disposition of properties for multiple REITs, review and analysis of property reports, fixed assets, CAMs, debt and leasing activity. Prior to KBS, Merle worked as the Director of Financial Reporting for the office division of The Irvine Company and as a Controller at CB Richard Ellis.
 
Merle holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Finance from California State University, Long Beach.
